I absolutely love high waisted pants. I wear them to work so frequently that they have become a staple in my closet! I have various high waisted pants with different patterns and solid colors. They definitely add some color and style to the corporate world. One of the main things I love about high waisted pants is the fact that they really elongate your legs. As a short girl, wearing high waisted pants is a really easy way to look taller and leaner. They also cinch your waist and make it look smaller, and who doesn’t love that? An important thing to note while shopping for high waisted pants is to make sure that the pants fit you on the waist and are the appropriate length.

I chose to pair these pants with a crop top since the weather in Houston was very warm over the weekend. Usually I pair high waisted pants with a plain top to keep the focus on the pants. You can also wear a simple top and tuck it in! I added simple pumps to this outfit to keep the look very minimal and chic.
