Happy Saturday! I am so happy the weekend is finally here because it means I get to relax and catch up on life. I went to DC last weekend for July 4th and although I had a really good time, I definitely need a relaxing weekend at home.
I love wearing loose clothing in the summer because it gives me the ability to move freely. I don’t usually wear a lot of dresses, but I am making an effort to branch out more! I love how this dress is so crisp and versatile for the summer. It is very effortless and can easily be transitioned from a day dress to a nighttime dress. More than anything, I love outfits that can be transitioned easily. This dress is meant to be loose because it is essentially a shift dress (I have been gravitating towards those more recently). You can wear this dress with gladiator sandals, wedges, espadrilles or any other flats for that matter for a daytime look. You can also pair this dress with a chunky heel (as I have done here) for a daytime look as well. For a nighttime look, you can pair the outfit with red strappy shoes, pumps and pretty much any kind of heels.
I love how the sky was very pink (because the sun was setting) as I was shooting this look. You can see a pink hue in some of the pictures!
