Happy Tuesday! Just as we were experiencing warmer days, the weather took a turn and now it’s cold again. This just means that I get to wear my coats and winter clothes for a few more days, which isn’t the worst thing in the world since I am in love with most of the winter items I’ve purchased this past November and December.

I love the color of this jacket because it is perfect for the spring! The material is also very light so it can be worn in the fall or the spring. Although, the fabric is a bit itchy because it is a wool blend! I also love the boxy silhouette of the jacket because it adds dimension to my shoulders. I have been looking for a menswear/boxy jacket for a few seasons and I wasn’t able to find anything until this past December! Menswear was a huge trend for Fall 2015 and Spring 2016. I am a fan of the masculine/menswear trend because I love oversized jackets and structured clothing. One of the best things about this trend is the fact that you can make it look edgy and feminine at the same time. You can make the boyish look more feminine by adding in some pieces such as a flowy blouse, pumps, skinny jeans, statement jewelry, etc. I decided to pair this jacket with boyfriend jeans and pumps. You can also wear sneakers or slip-ons for a more casual look.
